Husband and wife team behind Domus Planters, David and Louise have a wealth of experience in the design world.

David having spent his working life as a designer/craftsman, whilst Louise is a experienced interior designer.

Over the years they have created a successful design business, much of it through private commissions.

Having always worked at the bespoke end of the design field, both David and Louise have exacting standards and a very keen eye for the finer details.

INSPIRATION

The inspiration for Domus Planters came from the lack of products on the market.

So, after 2 years of market research and many proto-types later, we have finally put together a range of wooden garden planters and products combining innovative design, functionality and craftsmen’s skill that cover the market place for both modern and period properties alike.

Great design and functionality come from scale and proportion, pair this with the right plants and you have a truly unique and sought-after wooden planter.

As an example, the inspiration for the Knebworth came from a visit to cathedral cloisters in rural France.

Every planter is made to order and therefore unique to you, so we can guarantee the provenance of every item made in our workshop, ensuring the highest quality of materials and workmanship every time.

Our Country House range of garden planters will suit any number of settings, whether they are in a modern environment or in a wonderful old country house or stately home.

All our products are hand crafted from start to finish in our workshop by skilled craftsmen.

Finishes and Colours

Selected from Farrow & Ball, we have chosen a range of complimentary colours and they can be supplied in either Estate Eggshell or Gloss, whichever you prefer.

We can supply our products painted in a colour of your choice or in natural sustainable hardwood or reclaimed timber.

Bespoke colours are available upon request. We are happy to discuss using your preferred paint and colour of choice.
